Somnath Dwarka pilgrimage circuit
Package overview
A clear, temple-first plan for your Somnath Dwarka trip
The Somnath Dwarka tour with Porbandar runs 4 days and 3 nights, priced per person from Rs. 14,999 at 3-star, Rs. 19,499 at 4-star and Rs. 23,999 at 5-star, with hotel, breakfast and a private vehicle included. It adds Gandhi's birthplace, Kirti Mandir, and the Sudama Temple to the Dwarka and Somnath circuit. Because Porbandar sits on the existing road between the two temple towns, you gain both with no extra driving. It suits pilgrims who want a little history on the way, at no cost in time.

Why add Porbandar, and why it costs you almost nothing
The base Somnath to Dwarka circuit already drives about 233 km along the coast, and that road runs straight through Porbandar. So Porbandar is not a detour you bolt on. You pass through it either way. The only time you spend is inside the two sights: Kirti Mandir, the house where Gandhi was born, and the Sudama Temple, the shrine to Krishna's childhood friend. Together they add roughly an hour or two of stops on Day 3, not a day and not a night.
Compare it to the coastal add-ons. Diu and Gir each add a separate leg and an extra night, because they sit off the temple road. Porbandar sits on it. So the honest pitch is narrow and true: you get a birthplace and a temple for the price of the stops, not the drive. If a plan tells you Porbandar adds a day to this route, it is padding the trip, because the map does not.
Night plan
Next step: send your dates and group size and we will confirm your hotel tier and the Day 3 Porbandar timings. Call or WhatsApp +91 7302265809.
Night 1 — Dwarka: Puts you at the Dwarkadhish evening aarti the hour you arrive
Night 2 — Dwarka: A full, unhurried day for Nageshwar, Bet Dwarka and Rukmini, with no same-day drive
Night 3 — Somnath: Lands you here after the Porbandar stops, in time for the evening aarti
What to watch
Kirti Mandir and the Sudama Temple keep their own visiting hours, so Day 3 is timed to reach both while they are open; if either is shut on your date, we reorder the stops. In the monsoon, roughly June to September, the Bet Dwarka ferry can pause in rough weather and the Somnath light and sound show does not run. See the Somnath guide for current timings.

Good to know on price
How the tiers are built. The 3-star tier is about Rs. 5,000 per person per night across 3 nights. Each higher tier changes only the room: add Rs. 1,500 per night for 4-star (Rs. 4,500 over three nights) and Rs. 3,000 per night for 5-star (Rs. 9,000). The vehicle, the driver and breakfast do not change between tiers.
One honest caveat. These are pilgrimage towns, so the 5-star row is the best available premium, not a classified five-star. If a true five-star is the point of your trip, this is not the region for it.
General darshan at Somnath and Dwarkadhish is free. Pay any donation or special-darshan fee only through the official temple trust websites, never through a private number or UPI. Prices are indicative and confirmed in writing before you pay.
Why book this with Experience My India
- Locals of Devbhumi Dwarka. Born on this coast, so we know which hour Kirti Mandir opens and when the ferry actually runs.
- One private vehicle throughout. Your group alone with a pilgrim-experienced driver, never a shared coach.
- Tiered pricing you can see. The room is the only thing that changes between tiers, and the arithmetic is shown above.
- Multilingual team. English, Gujarati, Telugu and Kannada, before, during and after the trip.
- We concede the ceiling. These towns top out at premium 4-star. If you want a genuine five-star, we will tell you this is not the region for it.
- GST-registered business. GSTIN 09BZFPM8067A1Z9, with clear booking and cancellation terms.
- Call or WhatsApp +91 7302265809. Timings verified July 2026 and reconfirmed before departure. See our booking policy and cancellation and refund terms.
Porbandar for the price of the stops, not the drive. From Rs. 14,999 per person, 4 days and 3 nights. Call or WhatsApp +91 7302265809.
